Central Stores Volatile Supply Storeroom Closing - SCS Storeroom New Supplier
Central Stores & Receiving is closing it's Volatile Supply
Storeroom and will no longer offer laboratory supplies, reagents, and solvents.
The SCS Storeroom will make all of the same items available to ensure that
there is no disruption of supply to laboratories on campus. Storeroom personnel
are working closely with Central Stores to make the transition a smooth one.
There will be some changes that affect the procurement of supplies, updates
will be posted on the Storeroom website as they become available. Many specific
questions have been asked regarding this transition that are too numerous to
list, but some of the most frequently asked are answered below. Please feel

FAQs
Will I still be able to have solvent cans filled and delivered?
Yes, please send an email to
with
an address for pickup, contact information for the responsible party, and a
CFOP to bill. Solvents will be filled on a daily basis and delivered the following
day.
Will you be delivering lab supplies other than solvents to our door?
We currently lack the ability to deliver supplies. We are working on a possible solution for deliveries in the future and all supplies can be purchased on a walk-up basis. You are responsible for transportation.
Do you have all of the same items as Central Stores?
Yes, we have all of the same items and a lot more along with resources to source anything that we do not stock.
Do you have an online catalog to browse?
Yes, the catalog will be made available to units outside the School of Chemical Sciences shortly.
Do you accept P-card transactions?
No, we use banner CFOPs exclusively.
How do I obtain access to your systems for self-checkout on site at the SCS storeroom?

What are your hours of operation?
We are open for business 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Where are you located?
We are in the process of relocating to the ground floor of Roger Adam's lab and will be settled into our new home by the time the transition occurs.
